Founder and Director

Fern Gorin, Director and Founder, developed her unique coaching process in 1984 and since that time has assisted over 12,000 people in making positive life and career changes. The coaching process she developed proved so effective with her clients, Fern developed a strong and compelling vision to assist people worldwide in discovering their life purpose and creating a life they love. After serving many years as a life coach and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, she began training coaches to do this same important work internationally. She is deeply committed to her work and to the individuals that she trains, helping them create fulfilling lives and careers. A popular presenter for organizations, conventions, radio and TV, Fern also is founder of the Alliance of Career Counseling Professionals and is involved in local, national and international coaching organizations. Fern graduated with high honors from the University of Michigan, and obtained her Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from the Professional School of Psychological Studies.

Diana Long

Diana Long, BCC, PCC, and Mentor Coach is an LPI Alumni of both our Life & Spiritual Coach Certification Programs.  In addition to teaching for LPI, Diana has run her own successful coaching company for over 16 years. She provides programs & products for busy professionals, business owners and entrepreneurs, to create the success they want in business and life. She coaches clients from all over the United States, Australia, New Zealand and Europe. Diana is an author, speaker and a regular guest in print, radio and TV programs. Prior to opening her coaching practice, she worked as a therapist in private practice. Diana’s educational and work experience includes advanced degrees in Psychology and Counseling.

Sharon Good, Instructor

Sharon brings a rich variety of personal and professional experience to her distinguished career as a Creativity, Career and Life Coach. She coaches artists to achieve their creative and professional goals, and helps individuals from all walks of life create fulfilling lives, unique career paths & enriching retirements. She is a prolific author, publisher and editor of many books and audios through Good Life Press, including “The Tortoise Workbook: Strategies for Getting Ahead at Your Own Pace,” and “Creative Marketing Tools for Coaches.” She has taught and presented for New York University, the Creativity Coaching Association, Retirement Options, Columbia University Alumni, the International Coach Federation/NYC Chapter, and many others. Sharon is president of Good Life Coaching Inc., and also mentors coaches on their skills and practice building. She holds a certificate in Adult Career Planning and Development from New York University and is a graduate of Hofstra University.

Sheeba Varghese, Instructor

Sheeba Varghese, PCC, BCC, Mentor Coach and LPI Alumni, brings more than 20 years of experience working with individuals to her coaching consultancy, including more than seven years as a certified K-12 teacher. Sheeba teaches our Foundations and Advanced courses at LPI and mentors coaches who are looking to become credentialed at the ACC and PCC levels within the International Coach Federation. Additionally, through her own business, Sheeba provides life and leadership development for men and women so they can lead from a place of strength, care, and empowerment for those around them. She is passionate about people living on purpose and with purpose in whatever stage they may be in their life.

She received her coaching certifications through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), Life Purpose Institute, and Sherpa Executive Coaching. She is also a four­ time recipient of the Who’s Who Among American Teachers Award. Sheeba holds a dual Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education from the University of Maryland at College Park.

Bonnie Weiss, Instructor

Bonnie Weiss

Bonnie Weiss, ACC, BCC, is a Life Purpose Institute Alumni of both the Life & Spiritual Coach Certification Programs. She has been on the faculty of LPI for three and a half years. Bonnie is the owner of  Center for Christian Coaching, a Christian based Life & Spiritual Coach Training and Certification Program. Her passion is to train and certify students who seek to be professional Christian Life Coaches. Bonnie’s leadership and mentoring skills are excellent, and she is happiest when helping others succeed by staying focused on their growth and development.

Over a 25 year span, Bonnie’s background includes working for several Fortune 500 Pharmaceutical companies in positions such as Sales, National Training Manager & Key Accounts Manager. She earned numerous awards for excellence in sales and leadership. Bonnie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Communication & Business, and certifications in Training Management, Leadership and Sales Training.

Tanya Mundo, Instructor

Tonya MundoTanya Mundo, LCPC, PCC and LPI Alumni is a Personal & Business Transformation Specialist and Licensed Individual and Family Therapist. As an entrepreneur, thought leader, writer, dynamic speaker, and visionary, Tanya works with clients in both English and Spanish, to help them realize their full potential in their relationships, careers, and finances. Tanya is dedicated to empowering her clients to realize their unique gifts and discover authentic and creative ways to share them with the world.

Tanya is the owner and operator of her own successful independent coaching and therapy practice, she is a coach trainer and mentor, she is a featured expert and co-author of the book The Power of Letting Go: How to Heal Yourself and the World, and she has appeared on television, on radio programs, and in tele-summits. Tanya has a Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work and a Master’s in Counseling. She is certified in Financial Social Work, Money Breakthrough Method, and Sacred Money Archetypes.

Rhonda Mason, Instructor

20151129_172338-002Rhonda Mason, LCSW, ACC, and CSC is an Alumni of the Spiritual Life Coaching Certification course. She brings 33 years of experience as a successful psychotherapist in private practice facilitating healing at all levels of body, mind and spirit. She utilizes a variety of techniques that help clients reach their full potential. She is certified in biofeedback, family therapy, Energy Psychology and trained in Ericsonian Hypnotherapy She leads Jewish meditation services, workshops and is a community organizer and leader in her local and the national Jewish community.

Rhonda believes that as each of us reaches our full potential we are healing the world. This Jewish concept of Tikkun Olam , healing the world and Tikkun Ha Nefesh healing the spirit, is central to her Jewish Spiritual coaching. She teaches the Chai Jewish Spiritual Life Coaching class which embraces the soul of Jewish spiritual “technology” and values, integrating them with the powerful tools of Spiritual Life Coach training.

Francesca Hunter, Co-Instructor

Certified Life and Spiritual Coach

Francesca Hunter, BCC, is a Life Coach and faculty member of Life Purpose Institute.

Francesca’s career in helping others began with her work as a Patient Advocate at The Preventative Medical Center of Marin. She facilitated programs, which aided patients in learning the art of managing their healing programs while living with chronic illness. Francesca found that in order for patients to be successful in their healing they needed to identify and address the emotional, and spiritual issues in their lives and implement positive changes.

Francesca then founded Aloha Spa and Wellness where she brought together a team of the finest holistic health practitioners and wellness coaches to support clients in implementing the shifts required for optimal health, well-being and happiness.

A Life Purpose Institute alumni of the Life & Spiritual Life Coaching programs Francesca specializes in assisting individuals in facing the hard moments in their lives with dignity and grace. She is deeply committed to partnering with her client’s as they achieve the clarity, strength, and wisdom to transform themselves and their lives.

Francesca brings a deep sense of spiritual awareness to all that she does, assisting her students and clients in trusting their inner knowing and awareness. As faculty of Life Purpose Institute, Francesca is honored to be an advocate of student’s personal discovery and growth as they train to become Life/ Spiritual Life coaches.

 

Leah Grant, Director of Training

Leahheadshot_leahgrant-003 Grant has been coaching service-based business owners and executives for almost 20 years. She is one of the leading coaches for high-level financial advisors and advisory teams in the US through her work with ClientWise LLC. She is a Master Certified Coach and Certified Mentor Coach through the International Coach Federation, a Certified Emotional Intelligence Practitioner, and a Certified NLP Practitioner.

Leah approaches her role as a coach strategically and intentionally by considering who her clients are being in their business, what actions they are taking and the results they are getting in order to build solid foundations. She assists them in developing leadership qualities, creating dynamic team structures, integrating effective communication skills, and increasing profitability. Through her powerful intuition, she is able to identify both their potential and the source of their limitations. Some of her management-level clients have worked for Google, Walt Disney, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, MicroSoft, and Northwestern Mutual.

She combines her coaching experience with her skills in business development, organization and meditation to deliver a unique holistic, yet strategic, style of coaching.

Leah has been designing and delivering coaching skill trainings internationally for over 15 years. Her students rave about her Socratic-like teaching style that evokes their wisdom and encourages peer-to-peer exchanges.

She enjoys meditating, writing, creating multi-media art, and traveling.
